Alkaline, Anti-Cancer BBQ Marinade!

Dr. James Felton of the Lawrence Livermore Laboratory in Livermore, California has an Alkaline marinade he concocted to reduce the formation of cancer causing elements arising from grilled meats. This recipe is very effective with chicken but could also work with other meats.

The recipe for one chicken is as follows:
6 tablespoons olive oil
4 tablespoons cider vinegar
4 tablespoons lemon juice
Stevia to taste (My substitution for sugar!)
3 tablespoons grainy mustard
3 medium garlic cloves, crushed
1 ½ tablespoons salt

Mix all ingredients together in a bowl. Place the meat and enough marinade to cover it in a resealable plastic bag. Soak for 4 hours, making sure the meat remains covered the entire duration.
