Get Rid of Your Asthma With Nutrition!

Asthma is an inflammatory disease.

When you have an alergic reaction to something, that something generates free radicals. Free radicals are dangerous substances that attack various parts of the body. In the case of asthma, it is the smooth muscles inside the airways of the lungs.

Also many of the foods you eat and drink flood the bloodstream with acid, which also damages your body's cells and promotes the formation of additional free radicals.

When the lungs are inflamed the air passages become narrow and you feel shortness of breath and you cough, in an effort to open the blocked airways; especially when in a physically or emotionally stressful situation.

The inhalers and steroid drugs sold to you by Big Pharma only control the immediate inflammation and do not attack the cause of the inflammation, which is why you continue to have attacks.

The answer is to eliminate the excess acid in your blood and to boost you body's supply of antioxidants. This will protect the smooth muscle from being attacked and therefor ameliorate or prevent asthma attacks, depending on your compliance with our recommendations.

Therfore, the number and severity of your asthma attacks will be greatly reduced and they may stop altogether as long as you alkalize your blood and control free radicals.

How can you do this? Simple, alkalize your blood stream and increase the level of antioxidants in your body. You can do this in several ways:

Nutrition. Eat plenty of vegetables, especially brightly colored vegetables. They are alkaline foods and will help neutralize the acid in your blood, plus they contain phytochemicals that act as antioxidants.

Cut out dairy, which produces heavy mucus, cut way back on meat and fish as they are acid producers. Cut out fried foods as the heated oil is loaded with free radicals. Also cut out most baked goods, because of the oil (shortening) used in preparation and because the flour made from grains is also a source of acid.

Eliminate alcohol and sodas, even diet sodas. They are among the most acidic substances you can take. The same goes for energy drinks and most bottled waters (which in 40% of cases is nothing but overpriced tapwater!) are acidic as well.

Nutritional Supplements. Vitamins E and C are great antioxidants, especially E in preventing oxidative stress to the lungs.

Ionized Alkaline Water. For the fastest results in eliminating your asthma, drink copious volumes of Ionized Alkaline Water. This is the most powerful antioxidant available to you. It is also a very powerful eliminator of blood acidity as it has a very alkaline Ph value (index of alkaline/acid ratio in a liquid.

These measures will go a long way to eliminating your asthma without the cost and frankly danger of inhaled steroids and other medicines which you are taking which do not prevent or cure asthma attacks as they do nothing to attack the cause of asthma.
