Pure, Distilled or Reverse Osmosis Water is Dangerous to Drink

Dr. Zolton Rona, author of "The Joy of Health", states that "the longer one consumes distilled water, the more likely the development of mineral deficiencies and an acid state."

Dr. Paavo Airola, cancer expert and author of "How to Get Well" and "Cancer... Causes, Prevention and Healing" also reports that "long term consumption of distilled water eventually results in multiple mineral deficiencies."

Reverse Osmosis and distilled water were originally developed for industrial use, photographic processeing and printing, specifically. This water was never intended for drinking purposes. In fact, I can remember seeing bottles of distilled water in stores labled, Not for Drinking. It was supposed to go into your steam iron to prevent clogging by minerals.

Someone came up with the bright idea to sell this dangerous water as a Healthy, "Pure Water" and the scam was on.

The problems with Pure water which, incidentally, does not exist anywhere on earth, hmm, are many. It is acidic, adding to the chronic acisdosis many of us suffer from. Acidosis promotes the growth of pathogens, bacteria and viruses, as well as being the preferred environment for the growth of cancer cells.

Free radicals, products of certain chemical reactions, are also facilitated by an acidic environment, producing dangerous oxidative damage to the body's cells.

Pure water also leaches minerals from the body, contributing to the suppression of enzyme formation which negatively impacts every function of the body.

There is a direct correlation between the consumption of soft water (distilled water is extremely soft) and the incidence of cardiovascular disease.

In contrast, we find that the longest lived people in the world, in Japan, Russia, South America, etc have in common, they share heavily mineralized, not mineral-free water.

Oh, and dont fall for the TDS, Total Disolved Solids meter readings. They are really measuring the abcense calcium and magnesium, two of the most vital minerals your body needs.

Dr Zona admits that reverse osmosis water is slightly less harmful as it is neutral, IF minerals are added to it.

However, "The ideal water for the human body should be slightly alkaline and this requires the presence of minerals like calcium and magnesium."

Healthwise, there is no comparison between distilled and RO water, which at best are neutral and Ionized alkaline water. No hospital in the world uses distilled or even RO water to prevent amputations, cure MSRA and other antibiotic resistant infections, or to treat heart disease, cancer diabetes, etc.
